Where to get a form

 


You have many ways to get a voter registration form.

In person: Pick up a form at most public libraries, post offices, DMV offices, social service agencies, and at your county elections office. You can fill out the form at home and then mail it in.

By phone: Call 1-800-345-8683 and leave your name and address. Be sure to do this at least one week before the registration deadline. Then a form will be sent to you, and you fill it out and mail it in.

Online: You can fill out part of the form using the California Online Voter Registration form. Be sure to do this at least three weeks before the registration deadline. Then a printed copy will be sent to you so you can complete the form and mail it in.

Don’t forget!

  • No matter how you get your form, you must complete it and put it in the mail so it arrives by the registration deadline.
