"I Hope They Stop Terrorists" by J. Pierre

I hope they stop terrorists

to make New York City

a better place.

"The WTC" by James Chiverton

Pain. Pain. Pain. I feel the Pain. We all feel the pain. I could not believe what I was seeing with my eyes when I see what was going on. I could not believe what I was seeing.

I feel the pain. We all feel the pain. For the people that died that day on 9-11-01, for the family of the people that died, that died in this city. The people mourn with you on your loss.

"The Big Buildings" by Israel Santiago

The buildings are missing from the New York skyline. From the Statue of Liberty I could see the WTC.

We are sorry this had to happen to the people who are missing in the World Trade Center.

"World Trade Center" by Wilton Major

I hope it will never happen again. We will work hard to make sure it never happens again. We hope to catch them. I am sorry for the lost loved ones.

"The World Trade Center" by Margarita Butcher

On Tuesday morning I was in bed. My friend called me on the telephone. I saw it on TV. I was very emotional and I started to pray for peace on Earth to all mankind. When I watched it on TV, I cried a lot.

"God Bless America" by Wilfredo Rios

God bless all the firemen and all the policemen and all the people that was in the World Trade Center Tragedy. I hope that all these people get justice for the things that the terrorists done. God bless America.

"Writing about the WTC" by R. Wayland

I am writing about the WTC. I couldn’t believe that people are cruel to innocent people. I think that’s why they call them suicide bombers. They don’t care about the life of others and themselves. They crashed two planes in the WTC. I saw people falling from windows and people running and crying. And around ten-thirty a.m. the first tower falls down. Then in the next thirty minutes the second tower falls down. Then it was chaos and disaster to see the WTC first down and in the two towers have over 5 thousand people.

So you can imagine what was going on in the two buildings with the people running and the cops and firemen trying to help people from the two WTC towers. But they got caught in the falling and a lot of people got caught. And it was about a hundred firemen and cops and hundreds of people dying in the tragedy. But the tragedy and sadness got us together as one people. I never seen New Yorkers be together like this.

"World Trade Center" by B. Morgan

This is about the World Trade Center. It was very sad about what happened to the World Trade Center and people that was in it. That was something I will never forget.

I was in my bed when the first building got hit and was on fire. I couldn’t believe it. I went to the bathroom for about five minutes and came back looking at the TV. The second building was hit by a second plane and also on fire. In no time the two buildings were down on the ground with a lot of people hurt and dead in it. Over six thousand are missing and presumed dead.

"Evil from the Sky" by Wellington Pinder

It was a hijacking on September 11, one of the 747 jets crashed into the Twin Towers. The World Trade Center at 8:45am. Smoke was coming out from one of the windows. It was smoking from Tower 1. A lot of people saw what happened. It looked like papers were flying out. The workers at the World Trade Center did the right thing. One lady made it down OK. She had to pass through everybody to get to Ground Zero.

She made it through Ground Zero. She was lucky she made it alive. Smoke was coming strong. The hijackers used knife box cutters to terrorize the two Twin Towers. 8:48am it hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Thousands of gallons of jet fuel exploded between the 96 and 103 floors. Some of the people one by one jumped from the 103rd and the 96th floors.

Everybody’s hearts were shocked in the Bronx, Queens, or as nearby as the next building. That’s when the rescue EMS fire workers came to the World Trade Center. Everyone was walking on the West Side Highway going north. It was smoke still coming from the 103rd floor of tower one. How did they take that chance to jump that tower? People from everywhere looked and saw what happened that day.

The people were traveling by buses and trains into New York from New Jersey. The traffic got stuck, south and north New Jersey, Newark, Jersey City the most because they travel on the New Jersey Turnpike.

"The World Trade Center: 1975 - 2001" by John Montgomery

You can destroy it, but you can’t destroy the freedom and spirit of people in America. We will stay together and get even stronger.

May God bless New York.

May God bless America.

May God bless all of us.

"World Trade Center" by Nathaniel Parker

Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center buildings. It was a big explosion. Everybody was fighting to get out. A lot of people got killed. People were running for their lives. A lot of people got out alive. Thousands of people are still missing. Firefighters are still looking for more people that could be still in the building basement.

People are praying that the firefighters find their loved ones before they die of hunger. They are still searching with police dogs sniffing for more people. So far they found body parts of people. They are still looking for the people who did this horrible act. President Bush said we are at war.

"It Happened on Tuesday, the 11th of September" by Anonymous

I feel bad for the families because it is going to be hard for them to get over it. It is like a nightmare. My brother was one of the lucky ones and he wasn’t the only one. It won’t be the same for the people because a lot of things are going to change. There won’t be no justice, no peace, but I want more peace than justice.

"The Tragedy of 09/11/01" by Kelly Underwood

When I heard about the tragedy on 09/11/01I couldn’t believe it. It’s like I was shocked and I felt sorry for other people’s loved ones, and I think they should stop fighting, come together and be real friends.

Some people were in the plane and they were hostages. Some were not. Some people jumped out the window so they wouldn’t be collapsed on, and that’s what I think about it.

"The World Trade Center" by Dexter Dumont

September 11, 9:00 a.m. I was in Brooklyn. My friend told me "Look up. Smoke

in downtown Brooklyn." My heart jumped when he told me that but my heart went to

those people. I asked God Holy to help them and love them.

God is the way, the truth, and the light. God loved those people very much and wants them to love Him in heaven, too. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life; John 3:16.

Mayor Giuliani he do like to stay. He do a good job for the city. May the Lord bless him and those people. He do a good job for the public and people want him to stay in office.

"An Idea about October 11" by H.G., Jr.

On October 11, people all over the world should wear black clothing to show how much we all care about the people who lost friends or family members in the tragedy of the World Trade Center.

It would be so nice to hear our President announce this in his next speech to let the world know that we are united as one people and will not lie down. We will keep on praying and looking and standing up for what is right.

"So-Called Holy War" by Westley Slater III

In view of what happened last week in New York and D.C., I was driving a customer to the World Trade Center. The year was 1993, on the news they were saying a bomb went off. I was one block away waiting at the light, looking up, seeing people running for their life with dirt in their faces. And now seven years later, I was 20 blocks away when I saw this airplane go into the World Trade Tower and a minute later another plane went into the other tower.

Yes, this is a very sad day for many people. The United States is calling up over 2, 000 more reservists to fight this so-called Holy war. What’s so holy about this war? So more lives will be killed.

Here in the United States, at the UN on the wall says, " Micah 4:34: And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares. They will not lift up sword, nation against nation. Neither will they learn war anymore." Something is not right! But there is comfort for the depressed.

In Revelations 21:4 it says: "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I hope this is encouragement for you and me.

"A Wish" by Leslie Findley

It started on that morning September 11th, 2001. Tuesday morning, I got to work early at 8:30. We were outside working when this man ran to me shouting, "Trouble in Manhattan!" I thought he was joking. Then he seen an airplane flew through the World Trade Center, other people saying the same thing. From that day everybody began to be great to each other.

The world could be a better place. Everybody could be nice to each other. The world is a very sad place to be. I wish I could travel back in time to stop the airplane from going into the building so that people would not be feeling bad nor scared or in mourning.

It’s so wonderful everybody helping each other, praying together. It was a great moment with everybody getting together.

"My Friend Took Me to the WTC" by Baghwan Ramkarram

When I came to America my friend took me to the WTC. It was one of the most beautiful things I ever seen. When the WTC was destroyed part of me died. What it also was the fireman and policeman risking their lives. There is nothing more frightening seeing the fireman and policeman run into the falling building. My heart goes to the people who lost their lives. I will pray for their family. Also, I hope this never happens anymore.

"WTC" by Diaby Souleymane

September 11, 2001 we are going to remember for a long time. We never forget that morning. All New Yorkers wake up that day like a normal day. Drop their children in school and back to work.

That day we see two kinds of human beings–evil people and nice people. First one, people sacrificed their lives killing people. Second one, people sacrificed their lives saving people. There was policeman and firefighters and emergency workers.

My heart goes to victims’ families.

God bless all victims.

God bless New York.

God bless America.

Thank you.

"The Topic Is Disaster of the 21st Century" by E. Williams

The tourist building in the world that was in America, downtown of Manhattan–the World Trade Center. This building took eight years to build up. It was a big established landmark in most part of the world. It attracted people from all over the country. About 3, 000 people worked in the two Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.

On September 11, 2001 about 8:55 in the morning two planes crashed in the north side of first building number one. 18 minutes later a next plane crashed in the south side of the next building number two. At the time of the crash about ten thousand people were in the building when the building collapsed. Policeman and firefighters were there too. Each building collapsed about 1/2 hour apart from each other. This is a big loss for all the innocent people. One love to you all.
