Preparing to Go
to VALUE Institute in July

VALUE's Program/Conference Committee is working hard to plan a great Adult Learner Leadership Institute in Columbus, Ohio on July 19-21. We are getting great help from the Ohio Literacy Network and other individuals and organizations.
We hope to get a good turnout of adult learners from all 50 states. Learners are now raising funds to cover their travel costs and organizing groups of learners from their states to travel with.
Applications are now coming into the VALUE office. We urge adult learners from around the U.S. to send in their applications soon. (You don’t have to be a VALUE member to attend.) If you mail your application in before June 1st, you get a discount on the registration fee.

Learners who went to the Institute in Indianapolis in 1999 learned a lot, met fellow learner leaders from around the U.S., and had fun. We hope the 2001 Institute will be even better!!!!
