VALUE Seeks
Candidates for National Board

VALUE’s adult learner members will receive a letter from our Membership Committee before Thanksgiving. Members are being asked to nominate qualified adult learners to run for VALUE’s board of directors.
Nominations should be sent to the chair of VALUE’s Nominating Committee, David Rosen, by November 27th. The Nominating Committee will then contact the nominees to be sure they are willing, able, and qualified to run for the VALUE board.
The Nominating Committee will then prepare a ballot containing names of candidates. In December, the Committee will mail the ballot to the individual learners and adult learner organizations who are members of VALUE.
Each individual learner member will get one vote. And each adult learner organization member will likewise be able to cast one vote . (The members of adult learner organizations which are members of VALUE will have to decide whom they want to vote for.)
The ballots will have to be returned to the Nominating Committee in January.
