What is Crossroads Cafe?

• first nationally televised series that teaches English
• 26 half-hour entertaining "dramedies" with correlated text materials
• characters with struggles, aspirations, conflicts and dreams common to many ESL learners

Presentation Focus: Activities for the Classroom

• developing oral skills with Worktext activities
• developing literacy skills with the video and Photo Stories
• developing culture skills with the following video techniques: behavior study, sound only, thinking and feeling, watchers and listeners, culture comparison
