Prae is a chemical
oceanography graduate student in the MIT-WHOI Joint Program. After she finished her high school education
in Thailand, she received a scholarship from the Thai Government to study
oceanography in the Unted States. First
she graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Geology and Physics. Then
she moved to Massachusetts for graduate work.Prae has been interested in ocean
science since she was young, because she grew up in a small town on the east coast
in the south of Thailand. After
getting her degree from WHOI, she plans to go back to Thailand to conduct
research. When she is not studying, Prae likes to watch movies and cook Thai
food. She says, “I love Thai food
but I am not a good cook
