While viewing the vocabulary be sure to point out base words, suffixes, and prefixes. Use of vocabulary outside of class should be assigned.

Review the vocabulary and discussing it will reinforce vocabulary skills.

Parents should be instructed to use the same word attack skills at home that are used in class. This will improve English skills.
