GET REAL Guidelines for Evaluating Websites

For your use in evaluating websites, GET REAL guidelines are organized in a yes-no question format to address 5 broad issues concerning websites. Some questions are factual, and others ask you to base your opinion on the information available in the website you are reviewing.

Instructions: Read each question and circle the point value for either “yes” or “no.” If a question cannot be answered for the website you are reviewing or is not applicable, circle "0."  When you finish answering questions, add up the total points in all questions and compare the total to the GET REAL ratings below the guidelines.
