Savings Survey

If you have a savings account, answer the following questions based on your savings experience. If you do not have a savings account, use these questions to interview someone who does. Compare your answers with others in class. Do this alone and then compare your answers with others.

1. Is saving money important to you? Explain why or why not.

2. Rank the following reasons for saving from 1 (most important) to 7 (least important) in order of their importance to you.

9. Do you have more than one savings account? if so, how many accounts do you have?

10. Besides a savings account, what other financial services does your financial institution offer?

11. What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about opening a savings account?
