Steps to Stopping Sexual Harassment on the Job

STEP ONE

The victim is interviewed. Management at higher levels is made aware of the sexual harassment charge.

STEP TWO

Witnesses are interviewed. Their testimony is written down.

STEP THREE

The harasser is confronted with the victim's charges and with the witnesses testimony. S/he makes a statement which is written down.

STEP FOUR

An investigation takes place and a decision is reached.

STEP FIVE

If either party finds the decision to be unreasonable they may enter an appeal process.

STEP SIX

Penalties will be dealt out if needed. All information regarding the case will be kept on file.
