            A.  Plan

                        1.  It costs quarter of a million dollars.

                        2.  It will make Oakland the first city to have crime facts on the web.

                        3.  People will be able to find out about crimes.

            B.  Map Signs

                        1.  A red star is for homicide

                        2.  A green star is for assault

                        3.  Red circles are for armed robbery

                        4.  A light green star is for forcible rape.

                        5.  An orange circle is for child abuse.

                        6.  The purple triangles are for car thefts.

            C.  Uses of map

                        1.  Click on crime

                                    a.  Get more information

                                    b.  Get the police report.

                        2.  People can learn about crimes in neighborhoods.

III.  Hopes for future

            A.  People will read reports and learn about crimes.

            B.  Facts might let people know about crime problems in a neighborhood.

            C.  People and police will work together to make neighborhood safe.
