the Governor's Book Fund
California First Lady, Sharon Davis, recently published a childrens book, The Adventures of Capitol Kitty. The book is based on a real cat that lives at the California State Capitol in Sacramento. This whimsical tale was created to help young people get a sense of who works in the capitol as well as to provide lessons about friendship, truthfulness and courage. All author proceeds from the sale of this book and related merchandise go directly to the Governor's Book Fund to benefit school libraries.
