Membership Information
Membership to AAEA is open to all adult educators and students working or interested in the areas of adult continuing, adult literacy, agricultural, military, religious, higher, adult vocational, community and extension education. The purposes of the organization are to promote lifelong learning and to provide satisfying learning experiences for adults in all education programs.

The Alaska Adult Education Association offers many benefits to adult educators:

You will receive a copy of the 1999 Adult Education Directory

You pay lower registration cost at the Fall Conference

You will receive and may contribute to FOCUS, our newsletter

You will be part of a developing network of professionals interacting with problem solving, support and peer recognition

You will work with providers to assist adult learners moving "through the system"

You will be part of a united effort for lobbying and advocacy

You will share the efforts of, and the information provided by, the AAEA Legislative Committee.
